Are you still buying clubs off the rack because you've always thought custom fitting was for the better player? Have you been playing with the same specifiacations for an extended period of time? If so, it may be time for new custom equipment to improve your game and maybe take 5 or more strokes off your game.
According to a survey in the February 2010 issue of Golf Digest, "The Equipment Issue & Hot List," 45 percent of all readers have never been fit or think they aren't good enough to be fit. And less than 15 percent have been fit for both irons and driver. Does getting fit make you a better player? Also from "The Equipment Issue", GolfTec, which has more than 140 instruction centers across the country, found that 56 percent of its students were fit last year (nearly a 25 percent increase from 2008). Those students who had been fit improved by an average of 5.5 strokes.

CUSTOM FITTING OPTIONS
Windmill Lakes G.C. has developed 2 personal club fitting options to fit the needs of our customers. Each of these options has its own unique fitting styles which are catered to the skills of the player. It is important for each player to evaluate these types of fittings and which one is most beneficial to them. All fittings with our specialists are by appointment only.
- "FLASH" FITTING - These fittings are designed for 80-90% of all players. Each fitting can be designed for woods and or irons. Please don't let the name fool you, Flash Fittings usually take between 30 to 45 minutes in length and our very thorough. These fittings rely heavily on visual ball flight and use of lie board by our highly trained custom fitting professionals. Fees for the Flash Fitting are fully refundable with purchase of equipment.
- "GOLDEN FLASH" FITTING - These fittings are designed for the serious golfer that wants the maximum in club fitting expertise and technology. All of our Golden Flash Fittings make use of the Track Man Ball Flight Monitor and are conducted by our most experienced club fitters. These fittings are a minimum of one hour and maximum of three hours with our professionals. Players interested in these fittings MUST have the skills to hit shots with relative consistency, otherwise the player will not benefit from one of these fittings. Fees for the Golden Flash fitting are non-refundable.
